The Golden Triangle of downtown Pittsburgh has numerous attractions for tourists. This region is named because of the three rivers that converge in the area. It is home to a variety of historical sites, cafes, restaurants, and stores. Some of the most popular tourist sites are listed below.

The Andy Warhol Museum is located nearby. This museum, which celebrates one of America’s most influential artists, offers unique artistic exhibits and collections and provides a glimpse into contemporary art culture. It is found on Sandusky Street on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, and is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00am until 5:00pm, and is closed on Mondays.

The Carnegie Science Center is an all-ages attraction that offers scientific exhibits, a planetarium, a large Omnimax theatre, and railroad and submarine models and exhibits. The museum is found in the North Shore area of Pittsburgh, and is open from Sunday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and on Saturday from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

The Golden Triangle is also near to the Frick Art & Historical Center, which is named after Henry Clay Frick, who was an art enthusiast and industrialist. The center is made up of museums, galleries, and buildings of historical significance, and is positioned in a beautiful garden setting. It is located on Reynolds Street in Pittsburgh’s East End area, and is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Mondays.

Another attraction for travelers to Pittsburgh to enjoy is Sandcastle Water Park. This park is just a few minutes from the Golden Triangle area and boasts more than a dozen water slides and a wave pool, in addition to a beautiful boardwalk and other amenities. It is open during the summer months through Labor Day.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is set in Schenley Park and offers tourists to the city a chance to see a range of plants of exotic origin, and to take in beautiful garden scenery and Victorian architecture. The conservatory and gardens are open Saturday through Thursday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and on Friday they are open until 10:00pm.
